My Favorite Games

I love Dungeons and Dragons, but there is much more out there to explore. Below are a few of my other favorite Table Top Role Playing Games(TTRPGs) to run and play.

Dungeon Crawl Classics

Dungeon Crawl Classics is an old-school table-top role playing game that features deadly encounters, chaotic outcomes, and fast paced play. I particularly love how evocative the game is, with descriptive and dramatic outcomes for every role. Another thing I love about DCC is the unusual dice used to play it. Ever heard of a D5? How about a D16? So neat! The feel of the game is so very retro, and makes me want to listen to 1970's heavy metal. While the word "Epic" is over used, it absolutely applies here, and I really can't think of a better word for this game.

Thirsty Sword Lesbians

Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a Powered By the Apocalypse game where you play queer characters, usually ones that are into each other in some way. Through dramatic storytelling and passionate action scenes, this game is a wild ride the whole way. My favorite thing about Thirsty Sword Lesbians is the emphasis on inclusivity, and the ridiculous scenarios in which one can find themselves.

Dungeon World

Dungeon world is one of those games where almost anything can happen. The Ennie-winning rules-light system is a great game for beginners. Players drive the action, and the world responds. The feel of the game really depends on the players, and limited only by one's imagination.
